Memorial Day has passed but please look at this picture!
Let us know when you have it published, Robert. Did anyone see this bottom picture here? We have a hero amongs us. Thank you Robert and everyone else who has served or is serving right now. Another young man comes to mind who is a Ranger. I hate wars and wished we could do without them!

Read Introduction at my freewebs Trip West site. My military service ended in 1977. The Civil Service years ended on 31 Dec 2005. After reading it, I thought I'd set the record straight on that. I didn't want anyone thinking I had been in the Navy since 1957.
I didn't know I was a hero till Emmy said so. Never thought of it that way.
Many lost their lives doing what we did and yes there were times we were scared, knowing what we knew. But we did what we felt needed to be done.
That's what patriotic persons do.
I think of many policemen and firemen, and such as heros. I never think of movie stars and comic characters as heros.
May God bless all who serve. That includes preacher and teachers.
Thanks everyone, but I don't want this moved to Political so I'll stop here.Robert
