TV Commercials are KILLING me

so many 80s songs are now selling everything from Swiffer mops to Cruises. Songs from the Ramones, Blondie, Devo, Joe Jackson, etc. It was bad when I started hearing them on Muzak but commercialization of a very non-commercial music sector makes me ill.


The latest is Mohegan Casinos bastardization of My Sharona by the Knack.

I have fond memories of that song by The Knack for obvious reasons.

I just don't think I'd like it as much if it were about a casino so I didn't click on the link. And ditto to a chalupa, although that does sound cute.
