Ok so my 9 year old daughter has a planters wart on the heal of her foot since around January). Now first let me explain she is the drama queen of all drama queens so having a needle/excision is out of the question here. So we tried the bandaid type of medicine (no luck- didn't do anything), used home freezing method (same result), used liquid wart remover (same reult).
So I am researching on the internet other methods of wart removing and I came across using Duct tape. I thought it was the weirdest thing I've ever heard so I read lots of testamonies and then I called a nurse friend and she had heard that it works.
Basically you just place the duct tape over the wart for about six days and it comes off.
Guess what? It worked. Yesterday afternoon was about day 7 (we have a pool and the tape came off from swimming alot and of course bathing) and she took off her shoes and socks off came the tape and the wart came with it, root and all!
Just wanted to share this amazing experience!
