        Jeri,

What a great call. I would have just blown it off and suffered the consequences. Great to hear of your good fortune.

I am still in amazement that this happened and I actually went to the doctors for it. I still say that if I were not next door to my physician's office; I would have just continued to take the Tums.
Thank you all for your well wishes and I hope that all the women and men do not take anything for granted. That small little pain or indigestion may very well be all the signs you will receive for an impending MI.

I'm happy to hear that you went to the doctor's and got timely care. And then posted about it. Often with women the first indication of heart problems is a heart attack, and sadly many don't survive. Thanks for the timely message.

              "jericap"

My prayers are with you for a speedy recovery.

You are indeed lucky -- I would have not gone to the doctor for "indigestion"

Thanks for the heads up, and information that is quite well received by me.
              hope this info helps,

I sometimes get heartburn and just ignore it. Luckily for you, you didn't. You must have been very close to a heart attack.

Thanks for warning all of us. Now throw out those cigarettes.

                    Jeri,
                    Speedy recovery!
I second the idea of throwing out the butts. You have had a chance at a new start.
                    God Bless!
