  • My reputation precedes me

I just found out I have a reputation, what kind I don't know. I was callingTradewinds some questions about my upcoming trip to the BVI. Kelli's bd will be while we are on the trip and I was trying to get a cake for her. I was telling her this was my 2nd trip . She was very nice and helpful. All of a sudden I got an email from her and she said she looked up my name and trip from when I went to St Martin. She had the date and everything. Beside my name the notes said, single and quite the character!! I didn't know they kept records with little notes beside it.

I got another email just a little while ago from her telling me it's almost here and to keep everyone smiling. I've matured since then but not too much.

      Shaggy,

Beside my name the notes said, single and quite the character!!
Uh-Oh....I'm afraid to think what it says next to my name at II, and Marriott, in particular. I've called and ranted and raved, a number of times, over the years. Probably says, married, poor guy.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Wouldn't it be fun to get our hands on all the little notations...does anyone have an "in"?

You must have a totally clear conscience, Connie. I'm not sure I would find my comments amusing!

Having been banned from the Worthington hotel DFW. I don't want to know what they have in their notes. Something about rattlesnakes and table dancing I'm sure. It takes a lot to outdo those Texans.

              I'm surprised you remembered this.

It was a wild cut-over, in a town that used to promote drinking, driving and shotguns. I'm sure THEY remember.

                Texas Rattlesnake Shots

                1 part Brandy, cherry
                2 parts Southern Comfort
                2 parts Yukon Jack
                1 splash Sour Mix

Drink enough of those my friends and anyone would be table dancing.

FWIW My P file had "brilliant but insane" printed on the folder.

Lawren's mix sounds like an alcoholic cherry-flavored cough drop.

What's Yukon Jack? Sorry to bring back bad memories, Joy!

Oh you know, that personnel file that follows you around from job to job and boss to boss for 25 years or so.

Lucky for me my signature client loved me and flew me all over the place to do these things. They liked to blow off some steam when we were done to. The earlier we got things thrown over and 100% the earlier we could start the party!

Meant massive before the fact work and perfection but we got used to it. The hangovers were wicked though.

It sure would. I'd love to see what they have on all of us. Would most likely be very interesting.
