  • I've left Sears--disabillity

Some of you already know but for the others I wanted to let you know about the change in my life. After almost 30 yrs of selling appliances I had to quit as the pain in my leg and back just wasn't worth it. I am on short term disability and seeking permanent disability. I deceided after Mom passed away if I was ever going to make a change now would be the time.

I am in the throes of remodeling and slowly going crazy but I keep saying it will be worth it when it's done!!

    Wish me luck, Hugs Shaggy

I forgot to tell u I'm happy as a bug in a rug over leaving. Since I've left I'm not nearly in the pain that I was while I was working. I'm still the same ole "shaggy" just a little slower!! I don't do stairs well and can't walk real long distances but I'm not too proud to rent a scooter!! shaggy

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

                      Congratulations

Certainly a watershed event. I retired once, only to change avocations, and the new one is wearing on me, to be quite frank.

                        Shaggy,

All the best to you ~~ and I hope all works out for you! ~ As far as the house ~~ I know what you're saying ~~ hear ya loud & clear. Did ours last year ~~ it's so worth it though!! Thought we had another "shaggy moment" yesterday ~ everything happens around vacation. Our refrigerator went yesterday morning ~ we bought one ~ but of course because of the holiday weekend, can't be delivered 'till tomorrow afternoon. Oh well, better than when we're away!

Let us know how you make out. You deserve a bit of Good Luck for a change.

                            Good Luck

Good luck on your retirement. I retired about 6 years ago and am not one bit sorry. I missed the people I worked with, but not the stress of working. I'm a believer than sometimes things happen for a reason. Keep your chin up and enjoy life.
