We all met each other through the internet.

Yeah, you are right Jim...but this was the third or fourth guy she met on the net through a dating site...finally found one that wanted to marry her
At least with the timeshare friends, we knew a lot more about each other by the time we met.

I met my wife through the internet even before it was popular for dating.

In the "did you know" that Big Frank posted, in the video it says that 1 out of 8 couples married in the US last year met online.

I just happen to have been talking to our US Senator about an idea to ease the foreclosure/new housing/investment problems. Here is a portion of her reply, just received:

"You may be interested to know that Congress and President Obama have taken other actions to address problems in the housing market. For instance, utilizing $50 billion in funds from the Troubled Asset Relief Program (often called "the bailout"), President Obama launched the "Making Home Affordable Program," which provides incentives for lenders to work with borrowers to restructure their mortgages to reduce monthly payments to an affordable level. So far, over 600,000 homeowners have taken advantage of the program. While there are still many more homeowners that need help, and there have been some administrative problems with the program, I am optimistic about its ability to help homeowners in need. (For more information, visit: Making Home Affordable - Home.)

In addition to Making Home Affordable, there are other federal programs for homeowners and others seeking housing assistance. Those seeking assistance with a mortgage or any other housing issue can contact the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) hotline: (800) 569-4287 or visit HUD at Locating New Page..... Operators can direct them to federal programs or community groups that may be able to help."
