But I just booked Boltbus - Boston/NYC for $37 r/t over a weekend (Fri-Sun). Could have done the Fung Wah bus to chinatown for $30 r/t but Boltbus goes to Penn station. Amtrak would have cost $160.
Megabus had comparable fares. I didn't check the DC/NY fares, but they gotta be better than the train.
