  • Huggable Hangers

The other night I couldn't sleep and was flipping through channels at 2am and stopped to watch HSN ( Home Shopping Network). Again, I see these huggable hangers by Joy Magnano (sp)...they look great and claim to give more space in the closet and nothing is supposed to fall off of them. That in and of itself is such a great feature. Currently I have every kind of hanger in there except these. And have taken to folding some tops because they fall off the hanger so much.
I don't think they are that expensive, something like a $1 per hanger...but I am a little hestitant.
I would love to hear from someone who has had some experience with them.

YES, I have them even though DD said yuck. Stuff doen't fall off of them. I like them and probably will buy more. Don't tell DH, please. They should have other reviews on the HSN site.

Good bye white plastic tubular hangers in MY closet.

You might want to wait for a special deal at HSN.

I bought the first set at HSN. The second time around I bought them at Bed Bath and Beyond. They have them in several colors, 50 hangars for $39.95. If you have a BB&B near you, you probably get their coupons. They send out 20% off coupons every few weeks, and around here anyway, they never expire. Plus they let us use one for each item we purchase. Even if you can only use one, that's $8. off, which makes it $31.95 for 50, or just under 64 cents each, much cheaper than HSN. And the quality is just as good.

I love these hangers and yes, they take up much less room and the stuff doesn't fall off - I purchased mine at the Christmas Tree Shop - a chain store that is owned by BB&B - got 10 for $5.00.

I need more - but I do find for my slacks that I like to hang OVER the rod, they are not strong enough - they bend - so you either have to use 2 or stick with the plastic heavy hangers - everything else - they are GREAT.
Fern, good tip about the BB&B coupon.

I love these hangers too. I wonder if the ones at BB&B are as strong as the HSN ones because I hang my pants over the rod with no problems. Doesn't bend at all.

thanks for the replies...I don't get the coupons for BB&B but we do have one fairly close, so maybe I can run there to see if they have them and then sign up for their mailings.

I received it a few times in email a couple of years ago. I wish I could get a good shot of one of my dogs, especially the young one..I've had some people come here that have just fallen in love with her, she's such a doll. She doesn't sit still for a minute though...
