Gas up 50 cents in 2 hrs

We went to dinner tonight, and when I passed our local gas station gas was $3.59/gal. On the way home, 2 hrs. later, it was $4.09! Is this in anticipation of the hurricane???

I'm not even close to the action and ours went up $0.10 per gallon from this morning when I left Cape Cod until I came home tonight at 4PM. Of course on the Cape it is already about $0.40 higher than on the other side of the mainland side of the bridges.

Gas went up 30 cents today and we had long lines at the tanks. Have heard that surrounding areas less than an hour away have gas priced at $5 a gallon.

It really is a case of "let's see how much we can gouge the public" I mean why wait until there is a real problem before raising the price...

My friend called me to tell me to go fill up my cars cause gas was going up in the morning. Both my cars were filled so I did not go. I wish the Government would implement a law keeping raising gas to a minimum per day to stop this price gouging.
