      As the Mother of 3 Beagles in my lifetime, I've had this happen a few times when the bbq chicken parts were grabbed off the picnic table.

      I monitored them and aside from some lower and upper gi, shall we say, "symptoms" (which I cleaned up with the rug shampooer), they all did well.

        Well, she seems to be fine, she let me sleep through the night, and doesn't appear to have any "symptoms." Fingers crossed, but I am much less worried.

        Whew.
