For those who have ever paid $1.25 on upwards of $2 for a call to 411, now there's an alternative. Be sure to store this one in your cell phone: 800FREE411 (add a "1" on the front if calling on a land line.)

You'll have to listen to a short ad (for Papa John's or similar) but you can get the number free of charge. Pretty sweet!
