My orthopedic MD recommended it to me to try to avoid surgery on my knee for as long as possible. I think it helps. I just saw an ad for a new one that is coming our called (I think) Trisomine. Should be out in mid February. Similiar to Glucosomine, but with an added ingredient.

Sure, but no one is going through 5 1 hour and 3 half hour sessions of therapy...and the big shot that I have to go through. They told me it was 11 sessions, so not sure if I have them all scheduled.

Oh that is going to hurt so bad that first couple days.

Okay, I am just feeling sorry for myself, 'caus this is going to hurt.

I have had knee problems since last May and started taking Glucosamine 1500 mg with Chondroitin 1200 mg from Andrew Lessman since we have been using his vitamins for three years and it seemed to help.

I made the mastake of listening to the Supple informercial and decided after most likely phoney doctor talked it up I canceled Lessman and have now been on Supple for three months. First few weeks I felt better but think it was all in my mind because I wanted it to work.

During this time I had knee surgery because of some damage.

Now its taken so long for doctors to figure out what was wrong aprox seven months that the knee won't lay straight and I probably need knee replacement.

I still can not walk because knee sticks out five inches further than other knee.

I canceled Supple auto ship last week and have about 15 cans left. I reordered my pills from Lessman to start up again because they did help.

I had the very big shot

When the doctor walked in with that syringe, I think that was my first part of going white. That tube of stuff was sooooooo big. He had numbed the skin a few minutes earlier while the therapist checked my mobility.

I have NEVER had so much pain. As he is trying to inject 40-60cc of this solution, he is telling me that he has never seen a joint to tight. 'Great' I am thinking, why can't I be normal in some fashion? I always have to be 'special' at the wrong time. I swear that if he practiced on a cadaver, the dead guy would have sat up and told the doctor that it hurt.

The shot injection went on for (real time) probably a minute to two minutes as they have to move the joint around during the shot, so the stop, move the arm, inject more. It felt as it went 10 minutes. I sweat my gown soaked. I went completely white and could not hear me, I could hear the Dr. but not me responding, just mumbling. I was so cold I was just shaking. They gave me juice and had me lay there for 15 minutes. They did take more measurements while I shivered. Even after getting back to work, I was cold. I could feel the pain hours later, even though the actual pain was done. Just my body remembering.

I have had my second-1 hour therapy session. I am amazed at the difference. I can actually move my arm over 90% of what the other arm can do and it is getting better. I can now raise my arm fully to be able to wash my hair and under my arm, reach out the car door to get the mail from the mail box, and do the simple things that you never think about. I am doing exercises several times a day, have 3 more 1 hour therapy sessions followed by a few half hour sessions.

Would I do this again? I don't know. Frozen shoulder normally recovers on its own in about 1-1/2 to 3 years. Maybe if I (had not been a guy and) had gone to see the doctor earlier, my joint would not be as bad and the shot would have been better. Or maybe therapy alone would have fixed it. Frozen shoulder hurts, but that shot is the worse thing I have ever experienced.
