I think because they use pens!
No - it's because they text.
“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

    “You shouldn't wear that body.”

Talking about Halloween and candy corn, Lewis Black cracks me up....

Here is a link where he does a bit on Halloween....but don't click the link if you object to strong language....

        Toothbrushes
Dentists and orthodontists should not be allowed to celebrate Halloween if they're going to get all tooth doctory on us. Do not bring your work home with you, folks! We all have a personal responsibility to brush, and maybe some of us will forget, but your complimentary bristles on a stick (instead of a Snickers) will not help us remember. It will make us despise you and your trade.

The dentist's wife accross the street from us always gave out a handfull of popcorn. She has since passed away and the husband now does not even open the door.

Wow. That is so lame. A handful of popcorn! Most parents would make the kids throw it away as soon as they got away from the door.

It is probably better he doesn't open the door, as they would just be disappointed, so I would guess that now the kids know just to walk by and not ring the bell.

Here in Northern AZ, Halloween isn't what it was years ago back East....mostly now it is done by local merchants who host candy giveaways at their stores, or organized events. Very rare to see house to house trick or treating.

Never visit a dentist's house on Halloween.... Your bound to be disappointed!

When I was in kid in Palm Beach- one of our neighbors was a dentist and he handed out toothbrushes and little tiny packages of floss... Parents were thrilled, but all the kids were more than a little disappointed! Now when I look back, I'm not sure what to think......

We live on THE trick-or-treating street in our town. We probably get about 150 trick-or-treaters if the weather is good.
