  • Send a Holiday Card to a recovering soldier..

I got this from a friend and wanted to pass it on::
Regardless of your feelings about the war, this is a nice thing to do for the people who served:

When doing your Holiday cards this year, take one card and send it to this address. If we pass this on and everyone sends one card, think of how many cards these wonderful special people who have sacrificed so much would get.

When you are making out your Christmas card list this year, please include the following:

    A Recovering American Soldier
c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center
    6900 Georgia Avenue,NW
    Washington,D.C. 20307-5001

Thanks you Irene for thinking of our soldiers. I think that's a great idea, and I'm sure that our soldiers will greatly appreciate you thinking of them.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

What a great idea!! ... I got this website passed on from my sister last night, I sent one, then forwarded to all in my address book. It only takes a minute to do, and won't cost you a thing other than your time. Another nice gesture......

I hope this is legit. I had thought the other such a wonderful idea, and like others, fwd to all I knew. Then a friend sent me the snopes...
Do you know if this truly is a proper address to receive such cards and wishes?

AAHHH. Found a site that accomplishes the goal of sending greetings to our military! Used it, and it does work.

                XEROX IS DOING SOMETHING COOL

If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.
How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! It is FREE and it only takes a second.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? This takes just 10 seconds and it's a wonderful way to say thank you. Please take the time to send to our troops and then please take the time to pass it on for others to do. We can never say enough thank you's.
Thanks for taking to time to support our military!
                God Bless America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
