  • Pel grant - Where to get application form

Grand daughter will graduate from Tidewater Tech this coming March. She has never applied for a Pel grant. Is it too late? Can she apply each year?

I see many web sites that want money so they can save her money.

Any help would be appreciated. Where to find an online form and where to send it?

Here you go. Hope this helps!

    Federal Pell Grant Program

I found this on another site:

Pell Grants are awarded usually only to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor's or a professional degree. (In some cases, however, a student enrolled in a post-baccalaureate teacher certification program might receive a Pell Grant.)

I had gotten a Pell Grant when I went back to school nights. It's not too late to apply. I applied in late Feb., and was in school for the fall semester, (my kids thought I was nuts for wanting to go to school - they were like Jr. High at the time), I think it was like mid-summer when I was notified. And yes, you can apply every year, and if Family circumstances change, re-apply. Check out wackymother's website, when I went, it was BC, (Before Computers), I just went to the office of Continuing Ed. Good Luck!!

        Thanks very much.
Her school says she only needs to apply. We'll see.
