  • Crafts Inn comes through

I haven't gotten around to putting in my review for our stay at the Crafts Inn in Vermont this past week. It will be far from a rave review - the place has so much potential, much of it squandered. We'll go back for access to Mt Snow,

But DS has been unable to find his iPod Touch since we left on Tuesday, finally called the resort on Friday to ask if it was found in the room. They hadn't yet cleaned the room, but said they'd check and call him back. Much to my surprise (shock and awe...) they found it, admitted it, called him, and are sending it back!

My wife once left her belts in the room and the house keeper kept it. another time we left something behind and the resort mailed it back but asked us to pay for the shipping.

Glad it worked out. Sometimes they just through stuff out or in the case of something like an IPOD just decide to keep it.
Nice to hear of the honest helpful ones.

When we lived in Maine, we often thought about a weekend escape to various parts of New England, and several times we nearly booked into the Crafts Inn, but just weren't quite sure, so we never did. I'll be looking forward to your review.
Glad you (your husband) got your stuff back.

Glitter......Nice to hear that they were honest in this case, and that your DS is getting his iPod back. He must be thrilled.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

All I know about the Crafts Inn is that there was an online review somewhere that said the woman at the front desk was an unbelievable nightmare nasty crazy lady. I pictured her as Kathy Bates in that movie where she terrorizes Richard Dreyfus.

I guess she's moved on, though!
