Back a couple jobs ago, a guy I worked with had a signature line of Minnesotans for Global Warming. After 80 some hour below zero, I am kind of ready for global warming too. We have -22 again, but should get to a high of 6 degrees today.

-47F here today taking the wind chill in to account. It will stay that way until Saturday, when they are forecasting above freezing!!

I just heard that apparently we were the coldest place on the planet on that day! It certainly felt like it.
Yesterday was almost as bad and I drove by a burial taking place. Other than the obvious difficulty of the bitter cold and standing outside, the major problem would be that tears would freeze immediately and start to cause frostbite!

I thought it was cold here. But we're at a balmy 13 degree F right now. And tonight it's only going down to 0 degrees. We're having a heat wave compared to those of you further north. Stay warm everyone. This is a good time to snuggle up with your signficant others!

Now the snow

We are supposed to get (depending on who you believe) 4-8 inches of snow between 9AM and 7PM, with 2-3 inches by noon. It is now noon and not a flake yet. Radar shows it all around us, but not here. I know right when it will hit...Rush Hour tonight.

I'll stay here. Summer gets too hot as it is. Being in a warmer area would just kill me.
