        The Yorktown blizzard of 2009

        Tonight: Windy...cloudy with rain and snow. Low near 30F. Winds N at 25 to 35 mph. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected.

        Tomorrow: Windy. Snow will taper off and end during the morning leading to cloudy conditions during the afternoon. Cold. High near 30F. Winds NNW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow 70%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.

            It's snowing!!!!

            Bigtime!!!! Went out for dinner ( treated for my bd) and it started. Took me awhile to get home. I guess the town will close down for the next week or so. The saga continues:rotflmao-- shaggy

                I was surprised when i saw snow on the ground when i got off the ferry in Port Jefferson NY today at 6PM....

                There was none in Connecticut on the way down from Vermont thru Massachusetts....

                Angela, when did it snow on Long island???
                And of course it is snowing big time NOW!!!

                    When I left on Friday afternoon for Vermont, it was 50 degrees and raining....when did it snow over the weekend?

                    It has been snowing steadily here since 7:30 - there is 2 inches on the ground.

                            My wife just decided this afternoon that she doesn't want the wallpaper in the kitchen anymore so started to take it down. Guess what I get to do on my "day off" tomorrow?

                                Not a bad proposal. You know Mountain Creek is right next door to Northeast vacations at Minerals resort and spa...it's one of my favorite timeshares.
