My first robin. Spring finally is here!

To be honest I have been hearing them for a few days but today was my first sighting. Time to come out of hibernation here in the tundra of the lower Hudson valley.

I trust the birds more than that damn groundhog!

That sounds promising!
It was -40 earlier this week, but is just above freezing now, so I am hopeful that spring is on its way.

I went outside this morning to pick up the newspaper from the end of the driveway and I didn't put on a coat. This is the first time this year...was it cold, yes, but not unbearably so here on Cape Cod!

We had snow in the Seattle eastside this morning. Not the tops of the hills; near sea level.

I'll know the weather has turned for good here when the deer go back up into the foothills and I don't have to dodge them every day on the way into work.
