The Aroma of Orange blossoms....

.....is drifting in through our open windows. This time of year is the the best as the citrus trees are in bloom. These are not OUR trees, but from the groves, which are not too far away, and when the wind is from the East, the air is filled with the smell of orange blossoms. But you do have to live inland aways to enjoy them. DD & DS live closer to the gulf and they never get even a whiff.

So if you are down here around this time of year, take a trip to the country to see the orchards and 'smell the air'.

One of the blessings of colder winters in north FL! Cattle moved up and groves came south.

Or you could live in California. We live a mile from the ocean. We planted an orange tree in our yard on our second anniversary a year ago, and we now smell the blossoms every morning. In fact, my girlfriend loves it so much (she protested two years ago when I suggested it) that she asked me to get her a key lime tree for our third anniversary.
