must be having BIG problems with non-paying accounts. For 15 years I've thrown away every other bill and paid in full every two months as soon as the second bill arrived. Yesterday I got a phone call saying my account was overdue, first time in 15 years of service. They really must be having problems.

You can do that before? Most of my other bills come with some dead line date, if you miss that, you will pay some extra. I now have them linked to a credit card which I can get some mileage. Maybe I should have them link to discover, so I can get few cents back.

My signature line from one of my emails accounts reads 'Member of the "I hate Comcast" Club'. I added that after they changed the email reader so I can no longer monitor my three Comcast email accounts and send email from any of the accounts as needed. I now can monitor from one account. If I need to send an email from the other accounts, I need to log out of the current account, and log into the account that I need to send the email.

I have Direct TV for my tv watching, and comcast for my email. If I could find someone that could provide good internet service, I would go through the pains of switching, just to get rid of comcast.

Ditto. Comcast is our only option. No DSL available, satellite not an option with the tall trees. grrr. Comcast or dial-up, that's our choices.

I'm with the rest of ya's, Comcast is our only provider as they own Southwest Florida! The four years we've been here there prices are out of sight & don't have any intention of cutting their prices, they know they've got it made! We don't have a land line cause of all the phone calls you get from someone trying to sell ya stuff or someone is trying to track someone down as to the phone # they assigned ya, that's why we got rid of the phone & only have cell phones. We can get DSL &/or Satellite but the phone lines suck big time down here & the Satellite sucks as far as we are concerned as Comcast does!

Double check your bills as they are charged to your credit card account. I stopped the autopayments to my card when an extra charge was added for this service.

              !!!!!

I have a long-standing bias against Comcast. Greedy ______s is how they always behaved. I would buy service from anyone else, and will as soon as ATT Uverse shows up in our neighborhood. maybe another 9 years...

I actually love comcast. After years of having just a little tiny cable company comcast finally put in a line. THey had a great offer last spring & I got the high speed internet, phone & Cable with all the premium channels and it was 50 bucks a month less than my phone, Direcway & Dish (with no premiums) plus I got an HD TV.

Direcway was slower had limits on how much bandwidth you could use which was a problem with teens.

Are you still in their special new subscriber rate, or are you now paying the regular subscription prices? My price of cable tv plus internet nearly doubled from their introductory offer. I just have the internet now from comcast.

No actually it is a 22" Samsung HDTV, It is probably worth $200-$300.

After my 1 year initial programming it will go up $50/month for the 2nd year. So it was a good deal. I like having all the premium channels and the on demand feature is also great. We have digital on 3 TV's and basic cable on 3 more. The basic cable is at no additional charge. It works out really well for us
