One of my weeks resorts also became a points resort a few years ago. A few month ago there was a shake up in the people who run the resort. The new people running it don't know much. I called last week inquiring about converting my week into points. I was told the resort does not handle the conversion and to call RCI Points. I know for a fact the other people that used to work there did the conversions because I knew them on a first name basis and we talked several times about covnerting. Anyway, I called RCI Points and they told me I need to talk to the resort because RCI Points does not handle the conversions. So I called my resort again. Now I'm told they have no idea how to do conversions. They were never trained. The lady said she has no idea what paperwork needs to be filled out, she doesn't know the price, she just has no idea what to do. She said she will call the RCI representative and get back to me. I'm waiting....
