Need Advice on New Cell Phone

I need a new phone and have narrowed it down to 4 models that I can get for free. Anyone have comments, good or bad, on the following models?

Samsung A777
Samsung A237
Pantech C610
Pantech Slate

I mainly use it as a phone but do some texting and picture taking. I don't want anything too small that I can't find in my purse.

I think so, Sprint works good in most areas but when I was in Boston I found it to be great in that area. I at one time had Att and Sprint at the same time and found ATT to be the worse service , It did not work where my sprint phone did, Even ATT CS sucked. So you can have the same phone with different service providers and it will not always work. IMO the 2 best are Sprint and Verizon.

I'm looking at replacing my current phone with a Pantech (I have AT&T). I just haven't gotten around to doing it yet.
