Prayers needed for Nancy

Just back from the hospital

Nancy was in surgery for over 3 hrs but the Dr came out and said he thinks he got it all!!! Her mother is spending the night thank goodness or it would be me there. This is a very strange family. They mean well but warm they are not. I never heard her or her Dad tell her that they loved her. She acted anxious about Nancy staying witth her when she gets out and asked the Dr if Nancy would know how to change the fluid things as she just knew she couldn't do it. The minute she got in the room I gave her a kiss on the cheek and told her they got it!! Everytime there is a problem she tells Nancy just call Leslie she'll take you , etc. so Nancy doesn't have the warm fuzzy feeling that you should have between a mother and a daughter. I know if it was Kelli I wouldn't leave her side. I am glad her mom stayed tonight , hope it will heal the rift.

Shaggy, I will continue to pray for you, Nancy and her family. Give your local American Cancer Society a call. There are alot of support groups around and they may be able to direct you to a group that can offer some help and suggestions.
