My 8 yr old has been suffering, post-nasal drip and coughing.

20 mins into the school day yesterday, I get the call he's been sick. Coughed up a big phlem ball I guess.

Great the school nurse in her "swine flu" mode was not to happy with me. Geez, if he's running a fever or throwing up he doesn't go(I've got the letter over his missing 6.5 days to show it).

Took him to the doctor, and got a nasonex sample and scrip to go along with the claritin.

Surprisingly my Jr. High student(non-AC school) has yet to show any symptoms. Guess he's moved on from tree pollen to ragweed. His nose ran from Aug-Oct last yr.

Don't get me started on the Swine Flu thing... but the allergies do seem to change. My DS had terrible spring allergies last year, but not this year. And last year was the first year I had spring trouble, I was always Hayfever/late August, but not last year. I think this may be better - though my symptoms are worse, if a repeat of last year the season seemed shorter. Hey, I wasn't allergic to cats until I was in my mid 20s, and I think I may be finally over that and onto a dog allergy...
