I got this deal too. I love their crabmeat stuffed sole. I think I am going to have to order some of these by theirselves. I also usually refuse to eat hot dogs but I love theirs.

Frank I'm so glad you checked this! I just got a $25 gift certificate to Omaha and was whining that it was one day to late to get this deal. We just finished up the items from the last order too.

I have a very large order , over $500 worth coming the Friday before fathers day. I am having the family over for the BBQ, Can you guess what I am serving?

I started the order a month ago and have added and deleted item that were on special and was able to get the free shipping that was posted here on that order. I am just about done with the first order so I hope to have enough room in my freezers for all this meat. If I don't then at least I can BBQ it on that Sunday. There are still items that I am thinking about putting in there like the Chicken Sampler which is stuffed chicken breast. I was going to add the breaded veal cutlets since the price comes to about $8 a pound but I read that it is ground veal so I decided to pass on it.

I took advantage of the offer twice - one was a gift for my husband and the other for my son-in-law .... early Father's day gifts. We all sampled the delivery and it was sooooooo good. I don't know if anything will be left by mid June, I may have to order yet another of these offers.

DH and teen Son raved about the filet and hamburgers - and we all enjoyed the potatoes au gratin. This was also an excellent way to gain extra points with my SIL - he is a sweetheart.

I loved the filet of sole and the au gratin potatoes. I can't normally spend this amount at one time so it was a nice luxury for me. I envy all of you guys who can order tons with no problem. shaggy

The Omaha rep used the code below to get me the Whisky marinated steaks for $30 rather than the $50 sale price. I am not sure if you can use it else where but if you are ordering something it's worth a try. If not for $30 for 6 steaks that's tome is a good deal at $5 a whisky marinated steak. They are bigger than the ones we got in the American Celebration but they are not like the 20 oz Rib steaks that I normally buy.

BTW since I started eating from Omaha Steaks we noticed that we are losing weight easier. I guess the smaller portions are a good thing.

You're right, smaller portions are a great way to loose some weight. My family doesn't seem to get that concept. Both my husband and son seem to think that you just increase the amount you BBQ if the portions are smaller.....

At first I was disappointed in the sizes and thought just like your husband did. Maybe I should just double the amounts. The problem with that is that some of the items we could not double. We are 3 people and if there were 4- 5 oz steaks we each got 1 and split the extra one. After we started getting used to the smaller portions, I kept cooking just the right amount so if there was 8 5 oz steaks we would get 2 meals out of the item. We are also having more sides with our meals like Veggies.

I keep telling him to eat more veggies.....When he cuts down on carbs and meat, a couple of hours after we eat, he tells me he's hungry.

I then find find him eating ice cream, or cookies and milk......

It's hard...he is doing better though. Summer is almost here, and wants to look good in his bathing suit.....
