Bummed about doing the right thing

Not only are my dogs names are not stupid I dress them funny too!!

I actually have little cause to jest about the names other people give to their pets. My avatar is of our doggy nephew (sad or what??), who goes by the name of Onslow. He's named after a character in a popular UK comedy of the 90s. He's the fat, slobby brother-in-law of the main female character who thinks she's actually far more important than she really is. Doggy Onslow isn't actually fat and slobby, just very, very laid back He's at his most active when we visit, but only active until he can get on my lap and lay flat on his back with all 4 paws in the air and me gently rubbing his belly. If I stop I get a paw flapped at me until I start again, but he certainly makes no attempt to get down.
