  • Never EVER go to Trader Joe's hungry

OK I had a craving for the marinated Ahi fillets. I needed to put gas in the car and that called for a NJ run anyway. I try to combine my shopping needs.

Noon and I had had a banana and coffee ealier and was ravenous! Trouble afoot for sure.

Grabbed the Ahi, started strolling the most dangerous aisle in the place. Gotta get the asparagus risotto to go with the Ahi.... Oh this will be wonderful with the london broil in the freezer. Alfreado pasta with mushrooms. YUMMY! with the chicken breasts. Orange chicken; Brian loves that with rice... Can't pass on the lobster bisque soup, still chilly here... Heck I need coffee, I'm out.

and so on and so on and so on.

Right down to the chocolate covered peanut butter stuffed pretzels.

    No.

Don't ever go down to TJ's hungry.

    I totally agree.

Every time I've ever gone into an Italian deli, or gourmet food store hungry, I've spent a small fortune. Heck, just what I can consume while waiting on line to pay can be frightening.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

              a moment of weakness.

There are times they move them to another counter and I can't find them...and for those times I am eternally grateful.

              Unfortunately I found them today.

Emmy I am thrilled I have to schedule the TJ shopping (it's 20 minutes away) or I would weigh over 200lbs. Actually if they would stop stocking the pretzel num-nums I'd be fine. I usually shop healthy there for the most part.

LOL, I go when I visit my dad in NJ - I think Lawren and I must go to the same one - so the next time I visit we will rendezvous there - Lawren, do u go to the one with the BIG wine store right next to it?

There is actually a TJ about an hour from me but it is never in the direction I go in...too far north of everything - so it is rare i go to that one at all.

Geez, I've got one five minutes away. No wine, though.

A word to the wise...avoid the candied pecans at all costs. Repeat, DO NOT BUY THE CANDIED PECANS!!!!!
