No and not likely to as I never really liked the guy. I would prefer Letterman, but my real favorite late night show is Craig Ferguson which I tape nightly.

I haven't seen it, but I don't like Jay Leno, so to me Conan would be a big improvement. I'm not even sure when the Tonight show is on anymore. When is it?
I love Craig Ferguson, too. But I don't stay up late enough and we don't have any recording capability, unfortunately. Sometimes I check out his interviews online later in the week.

Craig Ferguson would have been the better choice IMHO. I was never a big fan of Jay Leno on the tonight show. He just wasn't a talk show type host that really interested me anymore than Johnny Carson was a stand up comedian that interested me. Johnny was a great late night TV host, Jay is a better stand up comedian. Connan is a better comedy writer IMHO than either a comedian or a talk show host.
For NBC I'm no big loss. I haven't watched the tonight show sonsistantly since Johnny left so it's not like they're losing any audience in our home. Our timeshare and other photo's at http://dougp26364.smugmug.com/

The thing about Leno that drove me crazy is his repetitive pattern....if he told a joke, he would repeat the line over and over....and his interviewing style was awkward or juvenile, never appealing.
On the other hand, Craig is totally engaged with his guest, has no note cards in front of him, and is totally playful....like Carson was. Yes, Craig can miss the mark at times, or his skits can fall flat, but for the most part, he entertains, and he seems to truly like to talk to his guests....Jay always seemed ill at ease, and I hated it when he would dig out some embarrassing photo or tidbit and spring it on his guest....so insulting at times....
I just don't get Conan, never have and probably never will.Life is short, live it with this awareness.
