If I got a job that would be a job change.
Since 2002 I have been working on my Mom and Dad's Estate. For awhile that was full-time.
Then I worked on getting our road turned over to the county and paved. That was 15 months. Since last summer I have been working on our dock/lot/house switch. The appraiser was back yesterday to do the new appraisal for the lot swap. The difference a year makes is amazing. I will share the comparision in my Law and Order in Bubba County blog when the new appraisal arrives.
Now I just want to go do something again.
Oh yeah, I forgot, write a novel or screenplay!
Yesterday we got some responses for some shows we can go do and that is what we really want. That on occasional weekends, plus marshalling at Ledgestone to get my golf, and vacations rental in our new house (Little Cedar Lodge?) would be a nice life.
Of course, if I got what guides get or boat rental places get, for our ---boat guests, I could probably retire and move to the lake! We were at Big Cedar the other day and the day-rate for deck boats is $400, plus gas.
Timesharewise, I would like to do something meaningful, like develop and run a resale program for a resort or resort chain, a program like Marriott's.
If you haven't tested the waters with folks in the timeshare sales field, the stuff we do on these forums is just a joke to them. They are the big shots and they know how to do what needs to be done.
For today I will settle with going to the dentist, and then shopping on the way home.
