Hello all, We are finally leaving on our long-anticipated vacation tomorrow!
It's a big celebration - my oldest daughter turns 21 in two weeks and my youngest, who is autistic, finally made it through high school.
We're heading tomorrow to Powhattan in Williamsburg for two nights, so my DH can spend time in the Colonial area for the 4th. On Sunday we're hoping aboard the auto train for Sanford Orlando, then driving to Disney for six nights. After that, we're spending a week at Polynesian Isles in Kissimmee. We've been planning this trip for a year and are SO looking forward to it. Thanks for all the help and suggestions everyone has been giving over the past year!
My soon-to-be son-in-law couldn't come with us this year
, so he has volunteered to house sit and watch our two dogs.
I'll give a report on the two DRI resorts, if not during the vacation, then when I get back.
