  • My wife simply does not understand

I just put a Swallowtail at Sea Pines week on hold via RCI for July 4th week in 2011. I tell my wife this, thinking she will be pleased.

"2011? Isn't that really far away?"

Hard to believe she is so 'short-sighted'

    Great catch, BTW!

I always find it interesting that it seems only one half of a couple truly grok's the RCI exchange scenario.

        Good find enjoy!

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

I'm telling you, my husband has strict orders to come here and post a "help" message if I die suddenly. He has no idea what we own, what reservations we have, how to make a reservation, how much it costs...no idea. I just tell him when we are leaving.

If I try to tell him his eyes glaze over. I figure that you guys will help him dump the timeshares and figure out what's already booked with RCI, Interval, SFX, and Bluegreen.

He thinks I'm nuts, but he has never refused a vacation!

That is SO true. I better leave DH my passwords for TS4Ms, RCI, II, etc...

Same with my DH, but he really enjoys the vacations I've planned and he's also never refused one. For someone who absolutely, positively did not want a timeshare, he's really enjoying them.

My poor DH knows that if I start a conversation with, "Here's something to think about..." then it's going to go into timeshare-land, probably in the distant future.

This is the same scenario around our house too. The only question DH ever asks is "When do I load the car?"!!
