How was your trip? I hope you had a wonderful time.....

Angela I just saw this post. Thank you for asking. We all 3 got sick for 3-4 days. We spent 2 days in bed without leaving the room. We ate a Panitone for breakfast and dinner one day and did not eat at all on Tuesday. Good thing I had brought that panitone with me.
We became ill from our nephews who both had stomach virus. Meanwhile back in the states I heard everyone who ate Easter dinner at my SIL also got sick for 3-4 days. Those little cuties pack one hell of a virus.

We enjoyed St Croix and plan to return in a 2-3 years. The resort is doing a lot of repairs and once they are done. We plan on going once a year. I may buy another week so we can spend 2 weeks there during the summer.

Two consecutive weeks every year... Now that does sound like a plan!

By the way, not that you would do such things, but Cubans down there too?

No it is part of the US since St Croix is part of the US Virgin islands, No Cubans there but they had good deals on other cigars.
1 Quart of Cruzan rum sells for $5, the flavored quarts of Rum are $7

Frank....I'm sorry to hear that you, and your family got sick....
That's not a fun way to spend a vacation. Thank God for the Panitone!

Two weeks would be great..... Then, you can really relax, and enjoy yourself. That extra week makes such a difference. If your family likes the resort, I would go for it.

And the Rum is a great deal too, what could be better....

Angela is so right. We really enjoy our two weeks together on Maui each year. A week is just too short if you have to fly to your destination. Too many hours are wasted at the airport and then picking up a rental car too.

Sorry to hear that you got sick during your vacation. What a bummer. I hope that you and your family feel better already.

hahaha...it's an Italian cake. Although, I think it may be spelled 'Panettone'

It is popular during the holidays...It is a cross between pound cake, and and a sweet bread. It usually has raisins in it......

                    Glad you survived Big Frank,

My bride and I sure enjoy our "primative" two consecutive weeks at Hotel on the Cay. You should have just have received a newsletter outlining improvements and plans. Thanks again for your company back in March.

How bad are the Hurricanes in this area?

Last bad one was Hugo in "89" I believe. Always a threat during hurricane season.

Eric if you ever want to go to Hotel on the Cay. Myself, Sandcrab and Bruce are all owners. if you can not get a trade in we can get you the owners rate. Depending on what time of the year you want to go. We can get you a rate of between I believe about $69 to $100 a night plus taxes.
