Well, the house is now officially ours.

Was very nervous during the handover since it was just me. Was worried I'd miss something. There were a number of chipped tiles and paint touch ups to be done. The outside painting of the house needs to be finished off and final appliances put in.

DH gets back tonight after being away all week so looking forward to going through the house with him. Hopefully, I haven't missed anything.

It must feel wonderful to "come home" to your own home. I remember that feeling we had many years ago. It is an accomplishment. I also watched your pictures while your house was being built. Lots of open space around you with the park next door. Ideal for the kids.
