Nice but that had to have been done very late at night....the traffic was way too light!

        Very cool.

Some other "Must do activities to be considered a real New York Experience"

        1) Drive thru an inner city neighborhood on a hot sweltering day in the summer. You will eventually run into a group of kids around an open fire hydrant. Drive thru while your car gets a free wash!

        2) Cruise around Manhattan on a boat at night. Up the East River, the Hudson, New York Harbor to see Lady Liberty.

        3) Take a flight around the city in a small aircraft. Did this many times years ago out of Grumman Bethpage. We would take a lunch time flight around Long Island, and Manhattan. Awesome experience!

Great video. I've travelled these roads a billion times. My favorite exit is Houston Street on the FDR Drive. (That's "Howston" Street for non NYkers). Why there? It's because i always think "Should I exit for Katz's and the pastrami sandwich? The best pastrami sandwich in the world. Sally loved Katz's too.

Pretty cool. It's been 30+ years since I was in a family car driving through Manhattan.

I used to visit a guy and his wife who lived in the Village. We drove to New Paltz and Princeton several times. It was kind of like on the video. He was doing his residency work and had lost his eye glasses so driving with him was always an adventure. Quick decisions, quick movements, quick trips. (My friend and his family are safely back in California now so you New Yorkers can rest easy with one less maniac on the roads!)
