Sad News

My Mother passed away this afternoon. She was 90 and had been fighting dementia since my father passed away back in 2003. At least she is at peace now. It has been a long and hard 6 years. What a horrible disease.

My sympathy to you for the loss of your mother. My mom also had dementia and died a couple of years ago at 86. I hope you remember the good times as you go through this sad time.

Sorry for your loss. I went through this all in a short period of time six years ago as my father and mother passed away within six months of each other and during the next six months we lost my wife's parents and it was within three months of each other.

Its hard but does get better with time! PHIL

Oh, I am so sorry for your loss, Eric. No matter what has happened to make our parents suffer or change in any way, they are always and shall always remain Mom and Dad, our parents. No matter what, no matter what the mercy is in their being called home, for us that they leave behind, we always feel the acute reality of losing them. I feel for you in this time of loss. Hugs to you and DW, and we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
