That's good to read. I hope he heals completely and that the physio will help immensely.

July was a total write-off with the cold, rainy weather. We are so glad we sold our cottage last year! We spent a lot of time with our daughter, SIL and beautiful 9-month old granddaughter. Our DS came home from South Korea for a whirlwind week in July. We had been over there to see him in early June. What a fantastic two weeks in such a beautiful country!
We had no other travel plans- are going to LV in October, and are so itchy to travel that we booked a one-night casino trip to Niagara Falls for next week.
I hope that September brings some of the good weather we missed in July and that it spills over into October.

I've had one of my best summers to date despite all the threatening hurricanes which thankfully fizzled out.
Spent a week in Cape Cod
a week in The Berkshires
Weekend in Boston
2 Weeks at Hollywood beach
1 week at Ft. Myers Beach
and a long weekend at Vero beach.
That about sums it up.
Can't complain.
I got more than my share of fun in the sun.
Gotta love timeshares.
God bless the good old USA.

Here in the Pacific Northwest we had spectacular weather - dry, warm, lots of sunshine. Most summers we get to complain about cool temps and cloudy days, but not this year! Spent ten days on the east coast on business and seeing family. Loved DC and NYC. Here we were able to fly our small plane into mountain airstrips several times and stayed in remote locations. Then spent time in the San Juan Islands, which is an hour flight from Seattle. Love our neck of the woods.
