Gas Prices again

I am interested to know if gas prices have fallen in your areas recently. The wholesale price of gasoline has dropped a lot as have prices in the few areas that I have checked.

The price of gas has NOT fallen very much at all here in Southern California. Shell regular is still above $3.00 a gallon for regular. The price in Las Vegas is much cheaper now. Usually it is just a few pennies cheaper if at all. Where our son lives in Texas, Shell regular is 87 cents less than here. Normally it ran about 20-30 cents less.

Just paid $2.89 for regular at costco in so cal. That is down from $3.09 over a week ago.

$2.149 to 2.229 all over the place in York, Hampton, Newport News.

We earn frequent flyer miles by making purchases with our mastercard account. We buy Walmart gift cards to use at the Walmart pumps.

With the Walmart gift card we get 3 cents off per gallon. That makes fuel at York county Walmart pumps $2.119.

Prices here in Toronto have dropped from $.97 to $.89 per litre. Sorry, i don't know the formula for conversion. Last night we filled the tank of our Hyundai Elantra for $30!

I just got back from Italy a couple of weeks ago. There, gas was around 1.10 Euros per liter. With the rotten exchange rate and doing all of the conversion, that comes out to about $6.10/gallon!

Even filling up my tiny Fiat was very expensive.

The conversion from liters to US gallons is: 1 liter X 3.78 = 1 US gallon.

You gasoline price per US gallon in Candian dollars is:

$0.89 X 3.78 = $3.36 per US gallon.

Toronto is quite a bit cheaper than Vancouver.
