So why do you live there?

I live here in south Louisiana. It is 45 miles south of New Orleans. I was born and raised not far from where I live now. It is HOME. I am a Cajun in heritage and it is good to live among my Cajun people. The land is good to us. The seafood is great. Cajun cuisine is awesome! My kid's favorite food is jambalaya! My husband and I both have good jobs. I am a teacher and my husband, although he has a degree in computer science, works in the oilfield.

My husband was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida and he is content to live here in lovely south Louisiana
