  • My Sincere Thanks!!!!! (RE: Aruba Chat)

I would like to thank GrayFal, Katiemack, and all the others that participated in the Aruba chat last night.

Since I am about to take my first trip to Aruba, I had many questions. You were all so helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. I truly appreciate all the time and effort it took in answering my questions, and offering me the many other tips. Your experience is priceless.

I now have all the information I need to have a wonderful vacation. I have reservations at all the good restaurants, information on the tours, beaches, snorkeling, car rentals, and more.

Beaglemom3 was kind enough to mail me a package of brochures and other information that she brought back from her recent trip. How incredibly thoughtful of her.

Pat, (GrayFal), has all along been answering the various questions that I have on many subjects. She deserves a big THANK YOU!!.

Again, my sincere thanks for all the help, information, and support, it is greatly appreciated.....
    Angela

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

    Feel The Burn !!

    Angela,
    You're welcome.
There's just one vital piece of info that I didn't hear metioned and that is to use extreme caution out in the sun. It is VERY strong there as you're so close to the equator. I mean strong ! As one who burns easily, actually, I get red and then explode, I had to slather the SPF stuff on and use it accordingly to directions (apply 30 mins before, etc.). Don't chance ruining your vacation with a sunburn. With the wind blowing and the cool water, you're not all that aware of your true exposure.

Time for me to tout my fav sunscrean again. BULLFROG. It is waterproof and I put it on in the morning before I go out and I'm good for the day. It's really great when you go on snorkeling tours as sometimes the guides get upset if they see you putting on sunscreen. This will not come off in the water so it does not hurt the reefs!! shaggy

Thanks, again, for moderating the chat session. Learned a few things for my next trip to Aruba. Undecided whether it is this August or next...Jeff (USA-NJ)

Jeff, glad you dropped in for the chat. You missed when Beags stopped in...she is going to London next week....thought you might have enjoyed chatting with her, but you had left the room....thanks for contributing to the chat! Good luck with your search for UK.
