Not sure what to say Fern.

They say God gives us only so much as we can bear. There have been times in my life like yours now when I have turned my thoughts towards the higher power and said is this enough yet???

    and we get through....

the good news is that this was caught early through a shear accident. Hopefully early enough for you and Jerry.

Hang in there both of you.

Fern, I read your blog just now to see how Jerry is doing. How nice that he has such a big menu to choose from so he can eat what he likes and keep his strength up for the treatments.

Nice to read too that his kids have come to visit him from CA. The three weeks will be over so fast. I hope Jerry keeps improving and best wishes to him and to you too.

Jerry just called a few minutes ago. They did the bone marrow biopsy on him this morning. That's very good news. The results should be in by Wednesday. Once they have the results and a plan of treatment, Jerry should go home, so that would probably be Thursday or so. He's chomping at the bit to get out of the hospital and be back home. The things he wants most, are to see Brianna (our Bichon), have a bath in a bathtub, and have a salad.

I hope all is good news. I'm sure he's feeling like 3 weeks in the hospital is more like 3 months - or longer. I hope his sub-type is easily treated and that he'll be feeling great soon.

                    Fern,
I just finished reading your blog. It's seems to me that Jerry is one tough piasan. He will beat this and be home soon. I hope you are holding up too, but i know you are. My heart and prayers go out to you and Jerry.

That is good news for both of you as Jerry will soon be home. I also read your blog again after Grayfal mentioned it. It's a great communication tool for family and friends to stay up to date.

So sorry to hear the news about Jerry. It sounds as if it was caught early, and that Jerry is very tough. That's good news! I will keep you both in my thoughts, and prayers, for a full, and speedy recovery.
