  • Barbie "Ladies of the 80s" Dolls

These are GREAT! I don't even like dolls and I want all 3 of them (but especially Joan!) to go with my Malibu Beach Barbie.

    Debbie Harry (of Blondie)

    Cyndi Lauper

    Joan Jett

    Lawren

I love 'em, and I"m betting none of them ever thought they'd be a Barbie! but I"m with Luanne, I want a Chrissie to be added to the collection.

My wifes sister cut off all the hair on my wifes Barbie's when they were kids. Well of coarse all of hers are in mint condition.

We don't want to scare the little tykes do we?

Admittedly Mattel goofed when they made just this set of 3 as I'd certainly buy a Chrissie doll and a Pat Benatar Doll and....

I think Chrissie would look a lot like the Joan Jett doll, with longer hair. We can get a Barbie wig set to fix her up for you

I threw that out there for your benefit. I knew you'd get it.

What about Madonna? Too "pointy" for kids to play with?

Oh please! Don't even put her in the same category with the others.

                          You're right. She's no Wendy O!

I just went online to try to order these for my 4 y.o. who has been complaining about having too many "boy toys" around (don't even go there, this is a G rated forum, she has a twin brother), and I can't believe how much they cost -- $45 a piece, backordered, blah blah, the usual collectible frenzy. Oh well
