Yep, that's her. Simon was too funny making fun of her, "dramatic Amanda." I've been watching her sing at the all the high school functions for years. My kids are pretty sure she gets eliminated early, I feel bad given how important this seems to be for her. But hey, her audition got pushed to "Road to Hollywood" episode - so she got showcased a bit, for better or worse

We watch it from the start but don't form any opinions until the final 12. There is a lot of funny stuff at the auditions. We love the "Pants on the ground".

We are not looking forward to Ellen being a judge. She has no qualifications to be a judge of a singing competition. She needs to stick to comedy which she is quite good at.

This may be the last year for American Idol with Simon leaving at the end of this season.
