Penn and Teller host the show "Bulls**t" on Showtime. This week the show took on the subject of numbers, and just how easily they can be manipulated to prove anything anyone wants to assert.
Naturally, the subject came around to timeshares. Who was the "expert" they interviewed? None other than Lisa Ann Schreier. I believe when she was in the process of collecting info for her book Timeshare Vacations For Dummies she picked brains over on TUG. As I recall, she wasn't received warmly.
She escaped the usual trashing that Penn does to his guests. She described herself as a "licensed real estate agent (or some such thing), timeshare expert, and author." She made a statement about who should buy timeshares (those who know the product and who like to vacation.) Then, she went with the crew to a timeshare presentation. Naturally, the one that got trashed was the timeshare salesman and his interesting "numbers." Schreier didn't get but a few seconds of airtime.
Anyone else see it?
