Ugh! What on earth possessed me to stay home and curl up with a glass of wine and THIS movie -- I don't go to cinema and I don't like to read reviews much so I can be surprised when I do get around to something on demand. I thought - Kate Winslet, should be good... and I do recall it either getting nominated for and/or winning a number of awards. But what a downer!!!

Where are you demanding from? Your cable company? I watch them in the theater or on DVD or on Netflix, so I'm not sure what's on the cable company menu. Give me some names and I'll tell you what I've seen. Or are there so many that you don't know where to start? Do they have a special Bollywood section?
Whatever you do, DO NOT watch "We Are Family." The posters make it look like a happy family movie, but it's a remake of the Susan Sarandon/Julia Roberts movie "Stepmother." Ugh! I told my DH that if anything happens to me, I am not giving him permission to move his girlfriend into the house to ensure a smooth transition for the kids. Especially if his girlfriend looks like Kareena Kapoor.

Originally posted by Glitter BrunelloYes, cable and HBO/Showtime on demand. I don't think there's a Bollywood section. I'll do some googling later. Thanks for the warning on We Are Family - that's not a Bollywood remake, is it?

One of my favorites, and it was a big hit internationally, is called Jab We Met, with Shahid Kapoor and (again) Kareena Kapoor. A love story with lots of singing and dancing. You might look for that one.

I just looked on HBO on Demand, and they've got nothing.
Quick way to search: The biggest star of Bollywood is Shah Rukh Khan. If you search for him (sometimes listed as Shahrukh Khan) and you get nothing, then there is no Bollywood on that system. He's been in many many movies and is a huge star.
