Are there two movies named "Crash"?

We taped a movie titled Crash off of HBO during the night and thought we were getting the movie that won the academy award. We saw a movie with James Spader and it was pretty awful. It did have a lot of car crashes in it plus a lot of sex in both parked and moving cars. Is there a different movie named Crash?

JOAnne, the movie was awful!
The new TV guide format does nothing but list the name of the movie, especially for late night movies.

If they list the year you could go to www.imdb.com and do a title search to see which version it is.

The award winning movie is called -Crash- with Matt Dillon, Sandra Bullock,
Terrance Howard.
I thought is was a great movie. Some parts are disturbing.
However it is also reality. You will still feel this movie ,hours after it is over.
