I admit it. If not for my son I would still be perfectly happy with my little flip phone and just plain texting.
Two and a half years ago we got DROID2 smartphones because I have fat fingers and long nails and insisted I still needed a qwerty keyboard. The friends who had iPhones really loved them but I had trouble with them. The only thing I actually really liked about the Motorola one was the nav system and the fact that I could receive and send e-mails.
In January we got our Galaxy 3s. FINALLY! The screen is responsive and large enough (particularly when held horizontally) where I don't fat finger everytime. I can actually read and see what I'm doing without having to enlarge everything. There are some things that I had to relearn but not horribly many and best of all is every add on item I have for the Motorola DROID2 works with the Samsung, including car chargers! SMART very smart.
