I've been without cable for so many years that I'm like a kid in a candy store.
Lots of great travel & niche channels.
Another great one is AWE.
A Wealth of Entertainment (AWE).
Lots of nice programs.

I'm watching Special Spaces. It's kind of what HGTV was like before they ruined it
with constant House Hunters episodes.

Yesterday I saw a nice piece on Barbados.
Maybe I need to go back cause it's nothing like I remember.

I do too sometimes but not 24/7.
Besides it's so unrealistic.
Nobody looks at just 3 homes and makes a decision.
More like 300.

They look at 300. They just show you 3. I gotta tell you though, I am sick to death of people turning their noses up at kitchens much newer than mine and saying they are "dated." Ha! Let them try to live with Elvis Presley's formica. (My kitchen counters are identical to those at Graceland.) And I am sick of hearing (in whiny voice) "we really wanted open concept." Or hardwood floors. Or granite and stainless steel. These youngsters on these shows want everything their parents worked 30 years to get and more. And they want it now. Babies! Whatever happened to a starter home? They want to start out with their dream home. Hmmmmph!

Okay, I am done with my rant.

And to get back to the subject of this thread, I don't think I get AWE. (I have Dish Network).
