    American Idol

    I've been an Idol watcher since season 2. I'm watching this year, but really don't have any preference to the remaining finalists. Anybody have any favorites, any predictions. I feel the contestants are the worse this year, but I do like this panel of judges.

    I haven't watched American Idol in a while, but just happened to catch part of it last night. Don't have a favorite, or prediction, but I thought Jena did a great job last night.

        The voice is more about the coaches than the singers. My wife and I like Caleb and Jena.

          Just last night I came to the conclusion that it is the coaches on The Voice that turn the contestants into real talent. So, yes, it is about the coaches, they are what make the difference in the talent.

          But, in the final analysis, the public votes for the contestants, and I don't sense that who their coaches are makes any difference.

          Much like timesharing, I used to be a big van of AI.

            Caleb has been great that Led Zeppelin song was his best. I do not think he has been as good since, Jena now she has been good and not slowed down.

              That was an interesting twist last night, but wasn't surprised by the outcome or who got kicked off. Sam seemed too full of himself. Maybe that's not true, but it was just the way he came across to me. I should have been cheering for him because he's from the Tampa area, but just didn't like him.

                thought Sam was good did you see him when that girl came out. He was like drooling I think it will go down to the ladies. Jessica was my favorite but Jena is good. From last nights show IMO Caleb had the best performance

                  I hated to see Jessica go. I had her in the top 3. I still got 2 of my top 3 Caleb is in with Jena winning it.

                    My wife and I picked Caleb and Jena as finalists. I think Caleb will win it all but Jena could if she has another performance like her last song she did.

                      I missed results show, plus much of regular show. Still have no favorite, so didn't matter to me. I felt the judges didn't like Jessica.

                        Something changed for her in the last two weeks. I did not see anything wrong in fact I thought she was great. The judges did not feel the same way that I did since they said it could have been better. Once the judges start saying that, The votes diminish

                            IMO the way Calab preformed Dazed and confused from Led Zeppelin might make him hard to beat. BTW I am a big Zeppelin fan so I maybe biased. I still would like to see Jena win.

                              Glad you are keeping this thread going, Frank. I had it on, but didn't really play that much attention to it. I think Caleb is the favorite.
